[Insert standard Slayers episode preview music]
[Camera fades in, gives a wide-angle shot of a city by the sea]
[Camera zooms into the port where men are unloading boxes off ships docked in the harbour]
Lina (voiceover): Well, we finally made it to Marinaul. Now, we just need to get a boat!
[Camera switches to Lina trying to grab Gourry's sandwich.]
Lina: And some food, too!
[Camera switches to Lina, standing over a broken jar]
Lina: Curse? What curse?
[The door smashes in Lina as Gourry walks through]
Lina: There's no such thing as the Curse of Sutedja!
[Camera switches to Lina casting fireballs at two men. The fireballs explode on target but they appear unharmed.]
Lina: Hey! What happened to my magic?! Those guys should be toast!
[Camera switches to an evil looking man with glowing, red eyes. He lunges for Lina, who is unable to react fast enough.]
Lina: Vampires! You've got to be kidding me, right?
[Camera switches to a young man running towards Gourry and Lyta. Switch to a close up portrait, he is smiling proudly. Switch to another man, older and more handsome. Lina grabs him by the collar.]
Lina: Coming soon, Slayers Triumph, episode three! Maybe, you'll find out who all these new people are!
[Camera switches to a roof where the older man is wielding a crossbow. He takes aim and fires. Camera zooms to Lina, on the ground, just as she turns around and sees the bolt coming.]
Lina: Read my misadventures in Marinaul or I'll kick your ass!
[Camera fades out as Lina prepares to cast Dragu-Slave]
